About the Game:
Race Report: Aistriu Mayhem Mountain Bike Race, H2H Series #1. The course winds through the NJ Pine Barrens for approximately 6.6 miles of twisty single and double track that includes roots, bridge crossings, and a water-bottle dropping railroad tie step descent. With minimal elevation, racers relentlessly push power through their pedals and hope to have enough gas in reserve to conquer a single, short, yet viciously steep, hill climb and descent on each lap.

The recent rains turned some areas of the course into thick, peanut buttery bogs, while other sections remained hard-packed and fast. Over 430 racers attended this year. The Pine Barrens recently underwent a controlled burn leaving large swaths of the race course covered in black ash and a lingering scent of burned wood. One of the many bridges throughout the Mayhem MTB race course. Lots of NICA NJ racers filling out the junior categories. The Atlantic County Dirt Devils are in good spirits before the start.
