Jenoptik to Deliver Speed Enforcement Systems to Prince George’s County, Maryland
Prince George’s County, the second largest county in Maryland, is receiving 66 speed enforcement systems from JENOPTIK Smart Mobility Solutions, LLC. Each system consists of a mobile trailer with solar panels and lithium batteries making them completely self-sufficient. Full service operation including maintainence will be managed by local Jenoptik employees from their office in Prince George’s County.
Ecuador Makes its National Roads Safer with Jenoptik Technology
Jenoptik has been selected together with its Ecuadorian partner by the Ecuadorian National Traffic Commission (CTE) to steer a traffic management project across the entire region of Ecuador. The project spans over 12 years and entails the deployment of more than 120 VECTOR SR cameras, which are used to enforce spot speed. Installations began in January 2024 and the first cameras are now in operation. The collaboration encompasses services, solutions and the expertise of the local partner, advancing Ecuador’s traffic infrastructure and making its roads safer.
Jenoptik helps increase road safety and security in North America with new traffic camera systems
Jenoptik, a world-leading supplier of road safety and public security solutions, has secured traffic safety equipment orders totaling over 21 million US dollars in the US and Canada that help support Vision Zero initiatives. Vision Zero is a multi-national road traffic safety project that aims to achieve a highway system with no fatalities or serious injuries involving road traffic. The orders will consist of existing TraffiStar road safety equipment and Jenoptik’s latest release of the VECTOR camera platform.
