Aurora Releases Deep Learning-Powered Facial Recognition Access Control Solution

Facial Recognition Software

Aurora has launched FaceSentinel, the world’s first Deep Learning-powered facial recognition access control system. Deep learning (DL) is an artificial intelligence form that trains a computer’s memory to recognize unique patterns of characteristics by processing large amounts of data.

FaceSentinal is designed for applications where the highest levels of security and reliability are required.

The system is small, non-intrusive and non-contact, providing high levels of unobtrusive second-level authentication.

The system can be integrated directly with existing access control technology via industry standard protocols, providing a high-speed, accurate and consistent security update for critical sites.

UK construction, development, refurbishment, and maintenance contractor Mulalley recently adopted Aurora’s facial recognition based solutions to manage time and attendance.

Deep Learning (DL) is a form of artificial intelligence in which a computer ?brain? can be trained to recognise patterns of characteristics by processing large amounts of data. DL has recently been applied to many tasks which are familiar to us in everyday life, including voice recognition, movie and music recommendation.

Auroa is at the forefront of these new advances and the obvious place to start was to apply them to Aurora’s Facial Recognition products. FaceSentinal is designed for applications where the highest levels of security and reliability are required.

Small, non-intrusive and non-contact, it offers unparalleled levels of unobtrusive second-level authentication. Integrating directly with existing access control technology via industry standard protocols, FaceSentinel acts as a high-speed, accurate, and consistent enhancement for the security systems of critical sites.
