The Genetec Product Teams (PLM and PMM) have announced the increase of archiving performance with selected BCDVideo servers. After extensive testing with Genetec’s Security Center Omnicast, we are excited to raise our existing server specifications and now provide you with the industry’s highest throughput certifications.

Test results of this enterprise-class platform have achieved a total throughput of 700Mbps.

The server is certified to support up to 500 cameras and/or 500Mpbs in continuous recording, and provide an additional 200Mbps dedicated for video redirection.

This configuration is now officially presented on the System Requirements guidelines as the “High Performance Standalone Archiver.”

We are also excited to certify higher performance on our most cost-effective platform, with which we achieved a total throughput of 550Mbps.

This server is certified to support up to 400 cameras and/or 400Mpbs in continuous recording, and provide an additional 150Mbps dedicated for video redirection.
