Percepto Autonomous Drone Solution Assessed in U.S. Operational Experimentation Program
Percepto revealed that it has participated in an operational experimentation program with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Science and Technology Directorate in collaboration with the U.S. Army. Percepto was invited to participate in the program to evaluate the ability of autonomous drones to perform intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations and to confirm the presence of adversary assets.

Echodyne announced that it has received a commodity jurisdiction (CJ) determination from the US State Department for its EchoFlight radar. The CJ determination classifies the EchoFlight radar as a commercial product exportable under the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) rather than the more restrictive International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) that apply to military items.
FAA Approves DJI To Authorize Customer Flights In Controlled Airspace
DJI has been approved to offer Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC) services for professional drone pilots. After a rigorous test and validation of DJI?s technology capabilities, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Monday announced its approval of DJI as a UAS Service Supplier, allowing DJI to offer its customers near-real-time authorization to fly in controlled airspace near airports. As a UAS Service Supplier, DJI now has the ability to allow enterprise customers and other professional users to use their DJI accounts to seamlessly apply for LAANC approvals while planning their flights.
