D-Link Shipping New Wide Angle 1080p Business IP-Camera

D-Link announced it is now shipping the Full HD PoE Day/Night Network Camera (DCS-2210L). The new DCS-2210L replaces the current DCS-2210 and doubles the frame rate to 30 FPS, increases the field of view to a wide 103 degrees, doubles the SD card storage capacity from 32GB to 64GB, and adds support for the mydlink® cloud service, allowing convenient remote viewing of the camera from a mobile device or computer.

?This new HD Network Camera is quite unique. It packs in more features than most of our cameras in a compact, easy to install package,? said Vance Kozik, director of marketing for IP Surveillance, D-Link Systems, Inc. ?Wide angle viewing, 1080p resolution and a PIR motion sensor make it an attractive camera for both small businesses and residential locations.?

The new camera offers 1920 x 1080 resolution, a built-in microphone and speaker, and integrated infrared illumination for seeing in complete darkness. Other features include a PIR (passive infrared) sensor for enhanced motion detection and PoE (Power over Ethernet), allowing for convenient single cable installation.

For added flexibility, the DCS-2210L network camera includes an integrated microSD card slot for local ?in camera? recording of event-triggered video clips and snapshots for later review using a web browser. Also featured is H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG video compression, multiple independent streaming profiles and ONVIF compliance.

With the included D-ViewCam software, users can also view, manage and record up to 32 cameras on a single computer in a central location as well as receive e-mail alerts if motion or digital input devices are detected. The DCS-2210L is mydlink-compatible, allowing for convenient and free remote access via web browser or mobile apps for iOS and Android.
