Secure Dallas 2015

December 9, 2015

A wise salesman once said, “People buy to either feel good or solve a problem.” Gone are the days when we could ‘sell’ security information security programs on the Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt held by our stakeholders in order to make them ‘feel good’. With breaches garnering front page headlines, the time has come to recast our profession as an enabler of the business in these trying times. To gain the traction we so desperately need takes new skills. In this full day event you will learn:

-How to build a an effective business case for your infosec program or new project,
-How to demonstrate the business value of information security,
-How to partner with your vendors to achieve force multiplication in establishing your credibility and business alignment,
– The power of storytelling in getting stakeholder buy-in,

By leveraging real world examples and case studies we will explore what works (and sometimes what doesn’t) to get the support, funding and visibility that we need in order to respond to the ever-chaing threats our profession is facing.
