Event Navigation
This session focuses around defining and tracking key security and compliance indicators to know if a company’s security and compliance program is on track (or not). We will teach the attendees how to use a business model approach to manage their security programs. Where a business focuses on cash flow, receivables, supply chain, etc., we will similarly focus on how (and what) to track to ensure that the security and compliance activities are being run with the same rigor and attention that other business functions are.
In this interactive session, we will explore the process for creating and sustaining value in your organization with security and audit operations and how to leverage that value to develop competitive advantage in your firm. We’ll also dig into the metrics that will help you gauge your success, beyond the traditional “how secure are we?” type of data points we’ve been chasing to no avail. By changing how you provide security services within your organization, you can create enormous value and move from being viewed as a “cost center” to a “business enabler”. This session will also include an enormous amount of background material, suggested books and other resources to help you create your own Business Model of Security.
