Upon successful completion of AutoVu Fixed Technical Certification course the participant will be able to:
• Understand License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology fundamentals and
mechanics
• Understand basic of License Plate Matching and current Optical Character
Recognition (OCR) challenges
• Install and configure a basic Security Center system with Video and LPR
capabilities
• Configure Genetec LPR cameras and use embedded advanced features
(Region of Interest)
• Create and configure lists of vehicles to match License Plate Reads against
• Create interoperability with third party applications using Macros, SDK or
XML tools
• Understand redundance and failover options within Security Center
• Design a reliable and scalable Security center LPR system.
• Perfom system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform site survey and camera positioning for optimal reading accuracy
Upon successful completion of AutoVu Mobile Technical Certification course the participant will be able to:
• Understand License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology fundamentals and
mechanics
• Install and configure a basic Security Center system with Patrollers
• Install and Configure AutoVu Patroller with Navigation features
• Operate an AutoVu Patroller
• Enroll Patrollers and manage connectivity with Security Center
• Configure communications between Security Center and Patrollers
• Configure Law Enforcement features
• Configure and use City Parking feature set
• Configure and use University Parking mode feature set
• Configure and use Mobile License Plate Inventory mode
