Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that its Public Safety & Security (PSS) Division recently received a new $7.8 million critical infrastructure security system contract award. Under the contract award, Kratos will design, engineer, deploy, and integrate into command and control infrastructure a leading technology security system for a mass transportation authority in a major city and metropolitan area in the United States.
The security system that Kratos will be deploying will include video surveillance, analytics, access control and certain other specialized security related assets. Due to customer specific and other considerations, no additional information will be provided related to this contract award.
