Power is a critical part of every installation and shouldn?t be a hindrance in designing the most reliable and efficient access control system. Now, LifeSafety Power —the originator of smarter, intelligent networked power— has introduced FlexPower® Unified Power Solutions. This innovative enclosure family integrates the industry?s most widely used access controller board power solutions, including Mercury and AMAG Technology.
FlexPower?s Unified Power Solutions yield a smaller installation footprint, providing multiple efficiencies and greater effectiveness in the design and specification of integrated access control power solutions.
The FlexPower Unified Power Solutions family includes the MCLASS? for Mercury controllers and the ACLASS? for AMAG controllers. These solutions take up less wall space, provide servicing efficiencies and include other embedded features that equal installation and labor savings for systems integrators.
Streamline installation & boost project margins
The FlexPower Unified Power Solution design puts system and lock power, as well as access control controller boards, in a single cabinet versus three. As such, installers have more options in even minimal wall space and are never forced into a restrictive power installation design.
The four to eight door MCLASS Unified Power Solution provides up to a 50% space savings; and the eight to 16-door up to a 70% savings.
The eight door ACLASS Unified Power Solution provides up to a 50% space savings; and the 16-door ACLASS up to a 35% space savings.
Other features include:
- Availability of single or dual voltage in one enclosure, allowing one AC wiring drop,
- A removable back plate to simplify wiring,
- Flexible mounting pattern,
- Wide channels and extra room for wire management,
- Pre-wired accessories section to save configuration time,
- Pre-drilled hole patterns for easy accessory expansion, and
- A 4.5-inch cabinet depth to accommodate 12Ah batteries.
In addition, both the MCLASS and the ACLASS are available in an intelligent networking option to allow for proactive monitoring of system and battery health.
Other configurations and power levels are available to meet every installation and vertical market customer.
