CNL Software, a world leader in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, will present a number of technology master class sessions at IFSEC International 2014. The master classes will cover PSIM’s role in the future of emergency management and the use of PSIM technology to provide a framework for Intelligent Policing.
James Condron, VP Sales, CNL Software, will be presenting the use of PSIM as part of the framework for Intelligent Policing.
Looking at how PSIM supports safe city security and municipal surveillance strategies from security system integration through to Integrated Predictive Policing (IPP). James will highlight how PSIM has played a major part in moving law enforcement in the City of Atlanta, GA, U.S., towards intelligence-led predictive, pre-emptive policing.
“With the support of CNL Software partner, Edge360, the City of Atlanta is continually looking at ways to get the most from its investment in visual intelligence to help identify and resolve security incidents faster and more incisively”, explains James Condron. “PSIM has provided the City with a framework to integrate security systems and build multi-agency and public/private partnerships. All of which are key not only to respond more efficiently to incidents in progress but also to realize the City’s vision for lowering and preventing crime through predictive policing.”
In his master class, Keith Bloodworth, CEO, CNL Software, will be looking into the future of PSIM and its role in emergency management. In particular how federated PSIM at individual agency sites offers organizations, responsible for safety and security, the ability to exchange data and collaborate around incidents without being dependent on each site running the same version of a specific software product.
“We are very excited about IFSEC this year. We have partners coming to the show from South Africa, South East Asia, Central Europe, and the US who have some great stories to share on the use of our PSIM technology; to pushing the boundaries beyond traditional physical security projects. We anticipate this to be a great show and are positive about the move to London”, says Keith Bloodworth.
