Jessica Dawkins on fire By: Shifra Unger (Scroll down for video) A man was arrested after security camera captured him accidentally setting his wife on fire. Police in Georgia, confirmed that they have arrested the man seen in the video accidentally setting his wife on fire at a gas station in Clarkesville. Austin Dawkins, 37, was playing with a lighter while pumping gas into his truck. In the surveillance video, Dawkins is seen speaking with his wife, Jessica Dawkins, 30, when he held the lighter too close to his truck. The gas vapor ignited. His wife, seeing the flames, ran away. In attempt to stop the fire, Dawkins pulled the nozzle out from the truck, which caused the flames to spread. His wife caught on fire and then fell to the ground. Jessica Dawkins suffered second and third degree burns on her legs, arms and back. Authorities said she was treated at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, and was later released. Dawkins suffered minor burns to his hands. Austin Dawkins was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment. If convicted, Dawkins could face a year in prison and a fine of $1,000.
