The new range of readers is an important addition to TDSi’s product catalog, as John Davies Managing Director of TDSi commented, ?Readers are a staple ingredient for many security access systems, so we have listened closely to our customers, installers and partners to ensure these products offer exactly what is needed, to stay ahead of the curve with regards to real security requirements.?
MIFARE Plus compatibility was highlighted as a central component in the development of the new TDSi readers. MIFARE Plus and DESFire technology provides even higher levels of security, whilst maintaining the flexibility and affordability which has made the original MIFARE technology so popular.
Research suggests that installing/upgrading and using the MIFARE Plus and DESFire reader technology can cut the threat from cloned cards by half. For a small difference in cost, the customer can achieve the peace of mind of a more secure platform.
With backwards compatibility and several variant combinations, the new readers also ensure previous card reading investments are not made redundant by an upgrade and are suitable for all applications. This also offers the option to operate different types of cards on the same network, continuing the use of existing cards where appropriate, until a full upgrade is ready to be implemented.
As well as the new readers, TDSi will also be showcasing the variety and versatility of its security product range, from one door applications to multi-site systems. Also on display will be the company’s SOLOgarde, MICROgarde and EXcel controllers, as well as TDSi’s enterprise solutions, along with the combined possibilities of its software products – including EXgarde security management and VUgarde CCTV software integration.
Stand F1100 will also be showing visitors the integration options of TDSi?s products with the expert security systems of other providers, as Product and Marketing Manager, Sarah Phillips, commented, ?The latest version of our complete security solution, EXgarde 4.4, has been designed to operate with the systems of other specialists providers in their field. This includes Milestone’s video surveillance solutions, SimonsVoss’ wireless locking products, ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio? locking systems and Texecom’s intruder systems.?
Additionally, the company will also be presenting the considerable benefits of joining its partner scheme, which includes support for growth and business development for members, as well as offering comprehensive technical support. Sarah Phillips concluded, ?As well as our products, we are also keen to discuss how our partner programme has been developed to fully meet individual customer needs and to ensure our partners get the exact level of support they need. The TDSi team will be available on Stand F1100 throughout IFSEC International 2015 to talk to visitors, whatever their security needs.?
