VIVOTEK announced the launch of three brand-new 3-Megapixel WDR Pro network cameras, including two fixed-dome network cameras, the FD8173-H and FD8373-EHV, and a bullet-style network camera, the IB8373-EH.
The FD8173-H, FD8373-EHV and IB8373-EH all feature 3-Megapixel CMOS sensor and are able to output 20 frames per second at 2048 x 1536 resolution.
Equipped with WDR Pro technology, all three cameras can cope with challenging light conditions.
WDR Pro allows the FD8173-H, FD8373-EHV and IB8373-EH to capture both the dark and bright parts of an image and combine up to three separate frames to generate a highly realistic representation of the original scene.
In addition, employing 3D Noise Reduction technology, these three cameras are able to suppress sensor noise, thus reducing bandwidth consumption and enhancing image detail in extremely bright as well as dark environments.
In order to ensure the delivery of superior image clarity and usability, these three cameras are all equipped with built-in IR illuminators, effective up to 20 or 30 meters, and Smart-IR technology to avoid overexposure, ensuring optimal image quality around the clock.
The FD8373-EHV and IB8373-EH are designed for diverse outdoor applications. Both cameras are encased in weatherproof housing, ensuring smooth operation even under harsh weather conditions.
The FD8373-EHV is protected by IK10-rated vandal-proof housing, guarding the camera against any vicious vandalism or attempted tampering.
Steve Ma, Executive VP at VIVOTEK, stated: ?Continuing to put great efforts into image quality enhancement, we are pleased to launch these three new WDR Pro network cameras. With such outstanding image process capability, they are undoubtedly the ideal options for locations which suffer from challenging lighting conditions, such as train station platforms, parking areas, and entrances of buildings.?
