AI To Match Startups With Global Media

At the innovative InnoVEX AI-Powered Startup and Media Matching event, to be held alongside the COMPUTEX Taipei 2018 show, AI will be used to match media representatives with the startup leaders most relevant to their interests, readership, and advertisers.

The AI matchup event, which premieres at InnoVEX 2018 highlight insights from key technology influencers of today and tomorrow, is organized by the leading promotional organization fostering trade and investment between the world and Taiwan: the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).

Held under the auspices of COMPUTEX Taipei, InnoVEX brings together global markets, accelerators, VCs and partners at one of the world’s leading ICT, IoT and Startup trade shows.

InnoVEX will features 388 startups from 21 countries this year increasing by 40% while 272 startups from last year. One-third of the overseas startup exhibitors are AI related, including CTA (Poland), H3O (Hong Kong), Incubit (Japan), Talentum (Spain), Silexica (Germany) and westwell lab (China).

Media Matching event focuses closely on industry trends, including AI, augmented reality (VR) and virtual reality (VR), health, IoT, blockchain, 3D printing, gaming, and cross-industry applications such as digital streaming connecting with audio and video entertainment to showcase diversity and human development in the startup community.

Among products and concepts on show at the event, France?s 3dRudder will reveal Skyrim VR/AR with the company?s exclusive smooth rotation system. Combining motion with interaction: the player moves in the game with the slight pressure of their feet on the 3dRudder. This keeps their hands free to fight with a bow or sword and cast spells, so the player can walk forward and shoot arrows simultaneously.

Another French company, Digitsole, will be showing its IoT product: Run Profiler Cycling, connected insoles for cycling. The device provides tracking and analysis of cycling activity, health monitoring, and audio coaching and personalized advice.

From Taiwan, Deep Force will be introducing its AI-based face identification system, which promises to be fast, accurate, secure, flexible, and easy to integrate. Umbo Computer Vision, another local company from Taiwan also has an AI product to show: a smart camera security that leverages the company?s cloud service. And Netherlands-based Expivi, promises to provide a new shopping experience for standardizing product configuration.

InnoVEX is a standout feature of COMPUTEX Taipei, one of the world?s leading ICT, IoT and startup trade shows. At InnoVEX events and exhibits, attendees can discover the perfect match between markets, accelerators, VCs and partners. Three days (June 6th to 8th) of InnoVEX events during COMPUTEX 2018 will include displays, forums, pitch, demos, workshops and a startup tour.
