But the HiveCAM also can be a wireless mesh repeater. By installing HiveCAMs around your campus, park, shopping mall, office park, distribution center, or city you create a private, highly secure, multi-service wireless network that can be used by other devices such as laptops, smartphones, or sensor devices.

A HiveCAM can be a VMS server for virtually any IP-camera and fully supports ONVIF as well as emerging standards such as H.265.

And every HiveCAM can also be a ONVIF compliant RTP/RTSP H.264 camera to other upstream VMS systems, solving the issue of interoperability and technology transition.

And the HiveCAM network scales linearly, since each HiveCAM has its own storage and processing, you never have a central server to expand or the complexity of calculating capacity. There are no bottlenecks.

And HiveCAMs can leverage HauteSpot Networks other products such as the HauteWRAP and HauteMESH routers to extend their range.

HiveCAMs and HauteWRAP routers become the ?land based? nodes delivering wireless services to mobile and wearable systems such as the HauteMOBILE vehicle mounted routers.
