Johnson Controls Global Security Products Introduce C•CURE Cloud at GSX 2024

● The physical access control, zero trust IaaS solution is the first of its type in the C•CURE portfolio
● The off-premise data solution provides customers with the scalability and resiliency of cloud services while enabling reduced infrastructure and Total Ownership costs

Johnson Controls announced the introduction of C•CURE Cloud, an off-premise data solution based on the C•CURE 9000 / C•CURE IQ access control platform offering personalized account management, with infrastructure supported and managed by the Software House Professional Services Group.

The new offering will enable customers to reduce infrastructure and total ownership costs, while taking advantage of the high availability and resiliency of cloud services.

“Today’s dynamic business environment demands flexibility and scalability. By leveraging C•CURE Cloud, customers can gain real-time insights, streamline operations, and drive innovation without the constraints of traditional on-premise systems,” said Faisal Pandit, vice president and general manager of Global Security Products at Johnson Controls.

“Organizations will be able to not only enhance data accessibility and security but also reduce costs, allowing them to focus on strategic growth and agility in an ever-evolving market.”

Johnson Controls is advancing its industry position in cloud service offerings with existing and new solutions. According to Gartner, worldwide end-user spending on public cloud services is forecast to grow 20.4% in 2024, likely attributed to the vast improvements in generative AI and application modernization. With C•CURE Cloud, the renowned and trusted C•CURE environment becomes available as a private, single-tenant Amazon cloud instance through Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA), hosted and managed by Software House.

“Choice is a crucial capability when it comes to modern technology systems, as customers need to be able to select the environments across the hybrid cloud that make the most sense for their unique needs,” said Mike Barrett, vice president and general manager, Hybrid Platforms, Red Hat.

“We are pleased to support C•CURE Cloud with Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS, providing a FICAM and SOC 2 compliant base for the offering, and we look forward to continued collaboration with Johnson Controls on this dynamic offering.”

The new offering feature set will include:

● 24/7 monitoring of infrastructure (IaaS) – zero-risk DNA
● 24/7 C•CURE technical support for critical issues
● Up-to-date software, no maintenance
● Strong cyber compliance
● Personalized account management
● A simple pricing and configuration model

Resulting in:

● Increased operational efficiency
● Lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

C•CURE Cloud will be on display at Global Security Exchange (GSX) 2024 in Orlando, Florida, from Sept. 23-35 in Rooms S230 A&B for attendees to demo and experience first-hand the transformative power of the cloud access control solution.

C•CURE Cloud will be available in November 2024, with select Johnson Controls customers already taking advantage of the IaaS solution. For more information on C•CURE Cloud, visit: http://www.swhouse.com.
