Keri Systems has released its long await GIOX Input/Output hardware to compliment the TCP/IP-based NXT hardware family and Doors.NET software. This new product greatly enhances customer’s ability to monitor large numbers of inputs and to create sophisticated custom linkage macros in order to perform almost any function conceivable, many of which may become requirements after the system is installed. It also allows sophisticated elevator control for up to 256 floors (total) for one, two, three or four cabs.

GIOX is comprised of a motherboard with connectors onto which Input boards and Output boards can be attached. Each board has eight Inputs or eight Outputs, and up to eight boards can be connected to each motherboard. The motherboard also contains the RS-485 bus connection for the NXT controller as well as the power input, tamper monitoring input, and an emergency switch input which removes power from all relays on all relay boards.

Keri will also be exhibiting in the ISC West Show in Las Vegas next month in booth 4071.
