ASSA ABLOY announced an expansion of their award-winning EcoFlex™ technology with the launch of the new EcoFlex exit trim. The EcoFlex exit trim can be used as an electrified exit device in stand-alone applications, in conjunction with a wall reader, or as part of an integrated access control lock, making it an excellent solution for a variety of applications, including K-12 and Higher Education, Healthcare, and Hospitality. In comparison with solenoid-based exit trims, the EcoFlex exit trims use an innovative motor-driven actuator that reduces energy consumption by up to 95%, as certified by GreenCircle.
