Shooter Detection Systems announces the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted two additional patents to its portfolio of indoor gunshot detection technologies, Patent No. US 11,604,248 (Low Power Gunshot Sensor Testing) and Patent No. US 11,688,414 (Low Power Gunshot Detection). SDS’s engineering team has long acknowledged the importance of improving energy efficiency in life-saving technologies.
Shooter Detection Systems Welcomes New President Stephen Carney and Appoints Rich Onofrio as Chief Technology Officer
Shooter Detection Systems (SDS) announce the appointment of Stephen Carney as the company’s new President. Mr. Carney previously served as Vice President of Global Product Management for HID Global. Additionally, Rich Onofrio, former Managing Director of SDS, has assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer, leading the Engineering team following the retirement of Ronald Fowler, the company’s original CTO.
