Johnson Controls announced a new offering in enterprise-grade frictionless access control with the integration of the Software House C•CURE 9000 security and event management system with the Rock from Alcatraz AI, a powerful edge device leveraging 3D facial authentication technology to protect businesses, people and assets, prevent security breaches, and mitigate risk. The Rock / C•CURE 9000 solution harnesses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and analytics, using a face as the credential, for an easy to use, touchless and hygienic access control experience for building occupants.
Cobalt Robotics announced a new collaboration with Johnson Controls. Johnson Controls C•CURE 9000 access control and event management system is now integrated with Cobalt’s remote guard service which includes AI robotics, machine-learning software and human oversight. With this integration, Cobalt robots listen for alarms and are automatically dispatched to the location in real-time after an alarm is triggered. The robots will escalate the incident in the C•CURE 9000 system, stand guard and provide situational awareness until the issue is resolved.
Johnson Controls introduces the iSTAR Ultra LT Door Controller from Software House, a special edition iSTAR Ultra door controller that provides a full IP architecture and enterprise level features for small to mid-sized access control deployments. iSTAR Ultra LT centralizes all access control decision processing and secures network communications while allowing end users to use existing infrastructure and Power over Ethernet capabilities to reduce costs.

The award was presented at the 2019 SIA New Product Showcase, during ISC West. Johnson Controls introduces C•CURE 9000 v2.70 SP1 from Software House, one of the industry’s most powerful security management systems providing 24×7 mission critical security and safety protection for people, buildings and assets. This new service pack provides software improvements for C•CURE 9000 v2.70 and new capabilities to enhance the security and safety of a facility and improve system administration. C•CURE 9000 can now be deployed under an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) model, reducing or eliminating the need for onsite server hardware.
