Surveillance IP-Camera RTSP URLs

RTSP-enabled IP-cameras are an important component of modern video management systems. Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP) and Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) allow for the direct video feed capture from network surveillance video IP-cameras. RTSP provides unprecedented ease of implementation and has been embraced by nearly every mainstream IP-camera manufacturer in the market.

Since RTSP URLs are not standardized, we provide IP-camera manufacturers the ability to support end users by providing the details of each IP-camera manufacturers’ RTSP URL addresses for known IP-camera models.

Click the link below to see a list of known IP-camera manufacturers and their camera models along with their RTSP URL details. Click on the manufacturer you are interested in and then the camera model to learn more about the RTSP URL.

Keep in mind, if you don’t see the IP-camera model you are inquiring about, sometimes the manufacturer will use the same RTSP URL with different camera models so you can try to use another RTSP URL and test the video capture results.

If you know of any RTSP URLs that are missing from our list, please leave us a comment and help us keep this list up-to-date.

    Thank you! please reply ASAP

    • Hello Romel, I did quite a bit of searching and couldn’t find the RTSP URL, but did you try a generic RTSP format? – rtsp://username:password@IPAddress
Also, you could also refer the user manual which came with your camera. I’ll continue my search – if you are able to find it, please let us know and we”l add it to our directory.

Samsung SRD-830D is the DVR, isn’t it? Please tell me which camera you are trying to connect so that we could look for the RTSP URL.

  5. Hello Does anyone have knowledge of the UBNT UniFi G3 dome cameras? They are a great camera if you use there server however if we need to use them on other hardware it becomes problematic. I have tried the usual configurations and have not found a way to connect these cameras to a Synology DS server using rtsp protocol. The UBNT camera and site has this as a format: rtsp://192.168.1.151:554/s2 and the user name and password are separated in another group. The Synology is requesting this more common setting of rtsp://%5Busername%5B:password@%5DIP:port/video_path Any ideas on a format?
