Patented Hardware-Based Technology Eliminates VPN And IP Attack Vectors
Zeroport announced it has raised $10 million in seed funding to accelerate global expansion and advance development of its non-IP secure remote access platform.
The funding round was led by lool ventures, with participation from Clarim Ventures, CyberFuture (backed by Elron Ventures), and Fusion Fund. The investment will support expansion into North America and APAC, team growth, and continued enhancement of the Fantom platform.
A Broken Remote Access Model
The secure remote access market continues to face systemic risk, as most solutions rely on IP-based communication that enables malware infiltration and sensitive data exfiltration. These weaknesses have resulted in widespread VPN compromises, including breaches impacting major government agencies.
Organizations are often forced to choose between remaining offline for security reasons or relying on complex, outdated IP-based remote access systems that are difficult to secure at scale.
Fantom’s Non-IP Architecture
Zeroport addresses this challenge with Fantom, the industry’s first non-IP-based secure remote access solution. The platform uses patented hardware to create a physical non-IP bridge at network boundaries.
Inbound communication is restricted to human interaction signals, while outbound communication is limited to display-only pixel streams. No packets can enter or exit the network, preventing malware intrusion and data theft by design.
Operational And Cost Benefits
This architecture enables organizations to provide secure remote access while maintaining full visibility and control over sessions. Enterprises can replace complex legacy remote access stacks and enable remote operations that were previously not possible.
The technology has already delivered measurable results, including the elimination of $5 million in annual travel costs for one systems integrator by enabling secure remote monitoring and maintenance.
“For 40 years, organizations have been forced to choose between staying offline for security reasons or allowing remote connection through cumbersome and vulnerable legacy systems that even the world’s top cyber agencies struggle to secure,” said Joseph Gertz, Co-founder and CEO of Zeroport.
“We’ve already proven our hardware-based approach can save enterprises millions while securing their most critical assets. With this recent funding, we’re expanding our team and reach to revolutionize how organizations worldwide achieve secure connectivity.”
Investor And Industry Validation
“When we screened the cybersecurity landscape, we identified that every remote access solution’s fatal flaw is its IP-based architecture, making networks inherently vulnerable,” said Yaniv Golan, Managing Partner at lool ventures.
“Zeroport’s validation from Fortune 500 CISOs and immediate adoption by critical infrastructure providers prove that hardware-based isolation is the paradigm shift enterprises desperately need.”
Zeroport has gained further validation through participation in Singapore’s CyberBoost Catalyse program and backing from CyberFuture, a venture group comprised of CISOs from major enterprises including Siemens Energy. The company serves customers across industrial, finance, defense, and ICS sectors and protects its technology with multiple patents.
Leadership And Technical Expertise
The founding team brings deep cybersecurity and hardware expertise from elite military intelligence units. Joseph Gertz brings more than 15 years of global business leadership experience.
Co-founder and CTO Lavi Friedman and COO Rotem Kalmi are alumni of the IDF’s elite Unit 81, where the founders first identified critical gaps in secure remote connectivity.
Additional Industry Perspectives
“As geopolitical uncertainty reshapes the global threat landscape, cyber resilience has never been more critical,” said Judith Wunschik, Global CISO at Siemens Energy.
“Zeroport delivers a paradigm shift for sensitive OT environments, introducing a level of ingenuity and security the industry has not seen before.”
“When we presented Zeroport to our IT and security reseller partners across Canada and the U.S., the feedback was unanimous: they categorized this technology as a game-changer for the industry,” said Yishay Waxman, Founder and Managing Partner at Clarim Ventures.
“We backed Zeroport because the team is outstanding and the product is unmistakably differentiated,” said Uria Lin, Principal at Elron Ventures. “Zeroport isn’t just improving remote access; they’re redefining it.”

Zeroport delivers the first non-IP secure remote access solution using patented hardware that allows only human interaction signals into networks and display-only pixel streams out. This approach prevents malware intrusion and data exfiltration while enabling secure remote connectivity for highly sensitive environments across finance, critical infrastructure, industrial, and public-sector organizations.
