The integration of surveillance video with other data and sensors is driving massive transformation in the way organizations think about the role storage plays as a platform. In fact, the need to manage and search through thousands or hundreds of thousands of files for retrieval can bring storage systems to the breaking point.

The concept of “workflow” addresses the full progression of steps to get from data acquisition through evidence management, and how all the components of the entire solution must work together. The panel will discuss a range of surveillance application workflows, their different requirements and the need for robust and reliable multi-camera ingest, along with methods for managing and retrieving desired content.

ISC East is the Northeast United States’ security industry’s premier convention for new products, solutions and technologies. Quantum will showcase its storage solutions for video surveillance and security in booth #343. Visit Axis Communications in booth #314 and Milestone Systems in booth #611.
