Bold Technologies, a leading provider of central station and PSIM software, has recently completed the integration between Manitou and the Vmax digital video recording (DVR) solutions from Digital Watchdog.
The integration between Manitou and Vmax connects information from the two platforms into one centralized environment within Manitou.
The integration adds value for joint customers who will manage video alarms more efficiently and with faster response through the transmission of critical information into Manitou’s automation software.
Bold’s flagship product, Manitou, centralizes alarm handling functions to provide “One Point of Control,” removing the requirement for central stations to maintain multiple systems and allowing immediate reductions in data entry time, operator error, and training over multiple systems.
Manitou incorporates the industry’s latest technologies including video, access control, GPS, and PERS devices.
Chuck Speck, President of Bold Technologies, comments, “We pride ourselves in fostering relationships throughout the industry with major companies like Digital Watchdog. We continue to grow our technical partnerships to strengthen Bold’s position and, more importantly, our customers’ abilities to provide the best services within Manitou’s single point of control framework."
Digital Watchdog’s Vmax DVR solutions are advanced H.264 embedded recorders that can record real time video in resolutions from CIF to 960H quality.
The DVRs offer dynamic features such as local quick search and playback, single touch playback and backup, quick setup guide with remote and FTP firmware upgrades, all managed from a simple and user-friendly local graphical user interface.
