Envysion®, a leading provider of cloud-based video driven business intelligence software to help companies deliver on their brand promise with instant, actionable video intelligence, is announcing a new vice president of engineering, as well as plans to hire 30 individuals in sales and technical roles in the next three months, a more than 33-percent increase in growth. The company will also move to a new, larger facility in Superior, Colorado, later this summer as it continues to expand to address customers’ needs.

Christian Ellis draws on more than 20 years of experience in developing applications for biotech, search, and e-commerce in joining Envysion as vice president of engineering. He will be responsible for the development and operations of Envysion’s video-driven business intelligence software and video analytics services. His background includes leading teams and empowering people to create modern, scalable technology, and he has built and launched more than a dozen SaaS web applications in six international markets. He will oversee Envysion’s engineering team in expanding into diverse industries as the company continues to grow.

Prior to joining Envysion, Ellis was responsible for Global Architecture at Global Healthcare Exchange, where he was instrumental in designing and building cloud-based supply chain management technology that processes over $50 billon in healthcare purchasing per year. Before that, he was vice president, technology Europe

for GHX Europe GmbH and a principal engineer working on Internet search engines and genomics research automation. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Regis University and an executive certificate in management and leadership from MIT-Sloan School of Management. Additionally, he leads CodeForBoulder, a volunteer group focused on mobilizing citizens to develop applications that improve local services and civic engagement with local government in areas such as city planning, library and arts, and parks and recreation.

Envysion, which recently acquired LightHaus Logic, expanding on its video analytics capabilities, will also move to a new location at 100 Superior Plaza Way in August, doubling its offices and offering one contiguous open, modern, high-tech space. The new space will allow employees to work on the same floor, encouraging collaboration.

“At Envysion, we are committed to giving our customers even more ways to harness the power of video to improve operations and sales and reduce loss. We are dedicated to investing in our leadership and in people that share an entrepreneurial drive, willingness to dive in and test the boundaries of tech to help our customers succeed,” says Matt Steinfort, president and CEO of Envysion.

“Envysion is comprised of an amazing group of individuals, focused on making an impact by leveraging technology and video in new and exciting ways. I am looking forward to the possibilities for the future, and the ability for my team to make a big difference in working with leading restaurants, retailers, and brands across the country,” says Ellis.
