OnSSI announced that its Ocularis VMS v5.4 is now certified with the Lenel® OnGuard® v7.3 access control security system to enable seamless functionality for sending videos and events between platforms. This certification expands on OnSSI?s previous interface with Lenel?s OnGuard system and provides customers with a more comprehensive and effective physical security system option.
?OnSSI has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to the OnGuard system. End users can be confident in the additional flexible functionality provided by the interface with this certification,? said John Marchioli, OAAP product management, Lenel.
?We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.?
?The collaboration between OnSSI and Lenel continues to provide a uniquely powerful solution with comprehensive capabilities within one framework,? said Ken LaMarca, VP of Sales & Marketing, OnSSI.
?This newest certification further enables administrators to access the many rich features of Ocularis.?
The interface supports communication between best-in-breed VMS, Ocularis and the OnGuard platform so operators can effortlessly call up cameras at any time. In an event/alarm situation, Ocularis video is displayed automatically in a pop-up window in the OnGuard system.
Operators can take advantage of the unique features of Ocularis such as Critical Camera Failover to never lose sight, automatic Recorder patch updates and Smart Camera Drivers to immediately take advantage of the newest, most advanced camera features. Controls in pop-up windows are also available for pause and playback, PTZ control and presets and I/O triggers and AVI export.
Ocularis is offered in three models: Professional – designed for organizations operating multiple locations with small to mid-sized camera counts; Enterprise – built for a wide range of mid-sized to large IT-centric organizations; and Ultimate – created for large organizations with extended command-and-control needs, as well as recording server failover.
OnSSI?s Ocularis IP security and surveillance VMS platform increases security, reduces operational costs, and helps organizations move closer to prevention. Ocularis delivers open architecture, flexibility, and scalability along with robust cybersecurity protections for a range of applications including education, gaming, government, healthcare, manufacturing, public safety, transportation, and utilities.
