Qognify reveals the advances that have been made since the acquisition of On-Net Surveillance Systems, Inc. (OnSSI) and SeeTec GmbH in January. The company is delivering its expanded product portfolio, complemented by enhanced service and support for its expanded global customer-base and network of channel, technology and camera partners. The new unified company will demonstrate how it is ‘Safeguarding Your World’ at ISC West.
Qognify announced that it has completed the acquisition of On-Net Surveillance Systems (OnSSI), including the pioneer of IP video technology – SeeTec GmbH. Backed by the global investment firm Battery Ventures, Qognify announced the agreement on December 22, 2018 and the deal closed on December 28, 2018. With Qognify, OnSSI and SeeTec operating under one umbrella, the company is today one of the largest VMS, Video Analytics, PSIM and Critical Incident Management companies in the world.
OnSSI established a model of collaboration with the company’s highly-prized authorized channel partners to help increase their sales and profitability with enhanced support services. The Premier Partner Program allows authorized channel partners to be part of a select group of professionals offering OnSSI’s industry-leading Ocularis Video Management System (VMS).
RecOn5 Pre-loaded NVRs and Servers from Video Management Software (VMS) leader OnSSI on display here at GSX 2018 (booth #2263) deliver unmatched performance, integration, ease of deployment and cost-efficiency for a myriad of applications. RecOn5 NVRs are pre-loaded with Ocularis NVR software for stand-alone operation, and RecOn5 Servers are designed for easy expansion of existing Ocularis VMS installations.
OnSSI announced that its Ocularis VMS v5.4 is now certified with the Lenel® OnGuard® v7.3 access control security system to enable seamless functionality for sending videos and events between platforms. This certification expands on OnSSI’s previous interface with Lenel’s OnGuard system and provides customers with a more comprehensive and effective physical security system option.
OnSSI is expanding its portfolio of VMS solutions with the introduction of the new RecOn5 integrated Pre-loaded NVRs and Servers here at ISC West 2018 (booth #13074). The new RecOn5 NVRs are pre-loaded with Ocularis NVR software for stand-alone operation, and the new RecOn5 Pre-loaded Servers are designed for easy expansion of existing Ocularis VMS installations. The RecOn5 Pre-loaded NVRs and Servers are available in 32, 64 and 128 camera configurations in desktop and rackmount models with HDD capacities of 8 to 40TB for desktop models and 8 to 80TB for rackmount models.
OnSSI will showcase its latest Ocularis 5.5 Video Management Software (VMS) platform with in-booth demonstrations of several solutions enabled by advanced technology partnerships. OnSSI VP of Sales & Marketing, Ken LaMarca, said that they are excited to leverage the ConvergenceTP, CyberExtruder, Jemez Technology, and NetApp technology to further enhance the capabilities of OnSSI’s Ocularis 5.5 VMS solution.
OnSSI announced a new integration partnership with License Plate Recognition (LPR) software company, Vaxtor Corporation. The integration enables Vaxtor’s advanced LPR analytics to be deployed across OnSSI’s industry-leading Ocularis VMS platform. With these integrated analytics Ocularis can recognize, capture and archive data on license plates, railway vehicles, USDOT numbers, shipping containers and more.
OnSSI appointed Chris Martinez as their new South Central Regional Manager. Mr. Martinez is a veteran of the security industry, with over 20 years of experience —12 years on the service/support side and 10 years in sales— where he developed, marketed, and sold security solutions throughout the United States. With experience gained during his earlier years as a field service technician, Mr. Martinez gained an in-depth knowledge of security solutions from inception to installation.
