Qognify has announced the launch of its web-based central VMS management platform – Umbrella – for Ocularis. Ocularis customers with large or distributed video surveillance installations can now use Umbrella to centrally monitor and remotely manage and configure every VMS installation across their deployment. As video surveillance projects become larger and more complex, they also demand more resources and incur increasing operational costs.
Qognify launched version 6.1 of its Ocularis video management software (VMS), that harnesses the power of market-leading video content analytics for earlier incident detection, improved real-time response and faster investigations. It also adds new capabilities to protect recorded footage against unauthorized screen recording and sharing.
Qognify set a new standard for video management systems with the launch of Ocularis 6.0. Available now, the release includes map-driven operation and a bi-directional interface enabling security operators to monitor and respond to incidents faster by removing the need to switch between several systems. Ocularis 6.0 also benefits from Qognify’s cross-product research and development, incorporating more robust automatic updates.
Qognify launches version 5.8 of Ocularis, the award-winning video management system for enterprise and corporate projects with an emphasis on tactical real-time operations and live visualization. In version 5.8, Ocularis has put the user front and center. One of the numerous improvements is the inclusion of an Ocularis Client MSI Installer, which enables customers to easily push out Ocularis Client updates using the System Center Configuration Manager from Microsoft.
