SoleraTec LLC, provider of innovative video lifecycle management and storage products, has certified its Phoenix VCM for the Media & Entertainment market and Phoenix RSM for the video surveillance market as fully compatible with Oracle’s StorageTek LTO midrange and T10000 enterprise drives and SL150 and SL3000 tape libraries.

This certification highlights a level of integration, functionality, and product offering to the video surveillance as well as media and entertainment markets looking for managed retention of video assets.

By combining Oracle’s StorageTek LTO midrange or T10000 enterprise tape drives and automated tape libraries, organizations can now implement a multi-tiered video storage architecture that not only provides for hardware acquisition cost savings but also delivers the ongoing operational cost savings that such a storage solution offers.

The StorageTek SL3000 modular library enables you to scale from 200 to just under 6,000 cartridge slots and from 1 to 56 tape drives in highly consolidated datacenter footprint.
