Sonitrol Participates In Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Sonitrol participated in Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.) nationwide. This program, founded by Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), calls on U.S. citizens each year to action in support of law enforcement.

Several Sonitrol franchises went out to their local police departments dropping off gifts, lunches and baked goods for officers to show appreciation for their commitment and sacrifice to help keep their communities safe.

Sonitrol and law enforcement have been supporting each other for over 55 years. With over 178,000 criminal apprehensions since 1977, law enforcement truly relies on the Sonitrol Verified Electronic Security businesses to help them get criminals off the streets.

To show our appreciation of law enforcement supporting our cause, Sonitrol has donated K-9’s, training weapons and assists in lunch & education classes across the country.

“At Sonitrol we pride ourselves not only providing good security solutions for our businesses and customers around our communities, but also helping to ensure the safety of law enforcement when they’re responding to our verified alarms,” said Julie Beach, Vice President of Sonitrol.

Major L.E.A.D. highlights from this year included “reverse pullovers” where employees from Sonitrol rode in a squad car and pulled over officers on patrol to thank them and hand off gifts, along with several locations hosting lunches for officers on location or at police departments.

Sonitrol is a unit of Stanley Black & Decker’s Security Division, with a network of 83 franchises and 43 corporate offices covering the United States and Canada.
