Virsec announced that Dave Furneaux has been appointed CEO of the rapidly growing cybersecurity company to continue increasing recent customer growth and building company momentum and industry traction.

Furneaux will continue to work very closely and partner with Virsec’s former CEO Atiq Raza who will remain full time at the company and serve as Executive Chairman.

Furneaux has served on Virsec’s board since 2014, is the founding investor through his investment firm BlueIO (www.blueio.co) and has been a driving force behind the company’s strategic direction and growth.

He also founded and led Kodiak Venture Partners and presently is also the founder, CEO and Chairman of BlueIO, an innovative investment holding company building and investing in purpose-driven global businesses across security, agriculture and health markets.
