ONVIF Celebrates Global Adoption, Milestones Of Success With 10th Anniversary
ONVIF® is celebrating its 10th anniversary, capping off a decade of growth and rising influence as a provider of interoperability standards to the physical security market. Beginning with a small group of competitive manufacturers who joined forces in 2008 and growing to 500 ONVIF member companies, ONVIF continues to refine and promote its specifications for interoperability between security technology devices and beyond.
ONVIF To Explore Standards, Safe City Deployments At ISC West 2018
ONVIF® announced that it will speak at ISC West 2018, April 10-13, at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, Nev., as part of SIA Education@ISC, the Security Industry Association’s educational program held in conjunction with ISC West. ONVIF Steering Committee member Stuart Rawling will be speaking on behalf of ONVIF on “Interoperability: The Engine Running Safe Cities,” on April 12, 2018, from 1:15-2:15 PM. The presentation will focus on the benefits of a standardized approach to safe city deployments, and how standards like ONVIF can help to close the gap between disparate systems.
