LuxTurrim5G Ecosystem Builds the Smart City of the Future
Nokia Bell Labs driven industry group is building key enablers for fast 5G network based on smart light poles, which will form the digital backbone of future smart cities. The LuxTurrim5G ecosystem project has developed the 5G smart pole concept where 5G base stations, a variety of different sensors, video cameras, displays and other devices have been integrated to light poles. This creates a novel platform providing fast, low latency mobile communications.
Teleste Enables Digital Innovations Together With Prince Of Songkla University In Thailand
In line with Thailand government’s plan to develop the nation into a digital economy, Teleste Corporation will facilitate the development of digital Smart Campus video applications in Thailand, together with Prince of Songkla University and a local system integrator Point IT Consulting. The parties have established an MoU aiming at the creation of new innovative digital services through the installation of technologies such as video management, video image analytics, situational awareness and Internet of Things.
Helsinki City Transport Adopts Teleste’s S-AWARE Platform
Teleste Corporation reveals that its S-AWARE® platform has been selected by Helsinki City Transport (“Helsingin kaupungin liikenneliikelaitos”) to drive improved situational awareness and safer travelling across the Helsinki metro system. The deployment of the platform will be started in 2019 and the project will be carried out in several phases and be completed the end of the year 2020. The total value of the deployment will be more than two million euros.
Teleste Introduces S-AWARE
Teleste Corporation will launch a new solution for situational awareness and incident management at Securex 2018 in Poland. The solution, called S-AWARE®, has been designed to expand the scope of traditional security and operations control systems by harnessing them with a new layer of data analytics and intelligence.
