Johnson Controls has introduced VideoEdge® TrickleStor, designed to maintain the integrity of video data in a surveillance system in the event of network connectivity loss. TrickleStor provides a highly-integrated camera and network video recorder (NVR) connectivity solution between VideoEdge® NVRs and Illustra® IP cameras that records video locally on Illustra cameras in the event of a connection failure, protecting against video loss in the case of NVR updates or network outage.
Johnson Controls introduces the next generation of Illustra Flex 3MP Mini-Dome, Bullet and Box cameras with features such as P-iris lenses and TrickleStor technology to provide optimal image quality and reliability, and the convenience and efficiency of bandwidth management of the camera using Illustra IntelliZip compression technology. Going beyond H.264 and H.265, the embedded Illustra IntelliZip technology monitors and then adjusts system streaming parameters, matching the camera’s field of view activity.
Johnson Controls’ newest version of its victor Unified Video Management Systems and VideoEdge Network Video Recorders from American Dynamics, provides a transformed, contemporary user interface and new detection and analytics features for increased visibility of the security environment. With victor/VideoEdge 5.0, the updated feature set includes license plate-recognition, perimeter detection, edge-based SD-card failover redundancy and several other advanced surveillance features, delivering greater and faster command and control capabilities.
