Avigilon continues to develop their artificial intelligence (AI) video analytics portfolio by adding features to their Avigilon Appearance Search video analytics technology – a sophisticated deep learning AI search engine that sorts through hours of footage with ease.

Avigilon recently added the ability to search for vehicles in Avigilon Appearance Search technology, available in the Avigilon Control Center (ACC) 6.2 video management software, to help users gain powerful insights and make effective decisions during an investigation.

Adding vehicles to the Appearance Search technology means users can quickly search through recorded footage to determine critical information about where and when a vehicle might have been before and after an event. An appearance search for a person can be followed up with an appearance search for the vehicle that a person gets in or out of. This allows users to complete an entire investigation that spans indoor and outdoor spaces, saving valuable time and effort during critical investigations.
