Vigilant Technology, a BATM Company and provider of intelligent IP video surveillance and security solutions, and Agent Video Intelligence (Agent Vi), the leading global provider of open architecture video analytics software, announce the integration of Vigilant’s NetVR recording software platform with the real-time event detection capabilities of savVi, Agent Vi’s video analytics platform.

The NetVR platform is now integrated with savVi to offer comprehensive real-time event detection rules relating to the behavior/movement of people, vehicles and objects. savVi’s real-time event detection solution transforms video surveillance systems from passive monitoring tools to proactive detection systems, allowing faster and more effective responses to potential security threats or safety incidents, as they emerge.

The integration enables Vigilant NetVR users to employ the complete suite of savVi’s real-time analytics capabilities, allowing security operators to receive alerts in real-time for events of interest, and respond accordingly. Security personnel will be able to proactively dispatch actions over the Vigilant NetView VMS including sending email notifications and shifting PTZ cameras into predefined preset locations, as well as instant access to live and recorded video from any camera on any monitor with any layout, alerting the operator via audio sounds.

Vigilant NetVR is available as preconfigured servers or as a software solution. It can be implemented as either a standalone recording solution or as part of Vigilant’s Video Surveillance Software Suite which includes NetView VideoWall, NetView Client, and NetView Mobile Control Center management software.

The integration was undertaken by Vigilant within the framework of Agent Vi’s Technology Partner Program (TPP) and has been officially certified by Agent Vi.
