Akershus Kollektivterminaler (AKT FKF) operates major transit hubs in the Oslo region, including Oslo Bus Terminal and Aker Brygge Ferry Terminal, serving over 450,000 passenger journeys daily.

Solutions
VIVOTEK implemented an AI-powered system combining panoramic monitoring, outdoor coverage, intelligent search, and real-time driver visibility.
The deployment was delivered by Nimbus Fiber AS and commissioned by Vicon Norway AS.
Comprehensive Surveillance Coverage
Indoor monitoring is powered by CC9391-HV panoramic AI cameras, offering 180° visibility across passenger areas. Outdoor zones are secured with IB9387-EHTV-V3 AI cameras, covering bus platforms, blind spots, and parking areas.
All cameras use Edge AI analytics, sending metadata to the NVR. The VSS platform acts as a unified interface, eliminating the need for additional software. With Deep Search, operators can locate people, vehicles, and incidents within seconds.
Enhanced Driver Safety
RX9502 Video Receivers are installed across all 16 platforms, providing drivers with real-time rear-view footage to eliminate blind spots and reduce accidents.
Replacing traditional PCs with RX9502 units has lowered maintenance requirements and improved system stability. RTSP streaming ensures smooth, low-latency video delivery.

Scalable And Future-Ready Architecture
The system runs on a VIVOTEK NVR within a VSS Server environment, enabling centralized monitoring and long-term scalability.
Future integration with VORTEX Connect will allow flexible access, extended AI capabilities, and secure data sharing. Additional terminals can be connected via OpenVPN, positioning Lillestrøm as a centralized monitoring hub.
