VMS Vendors Invited To Video Storage Technology Roundtable At ISC West

As part of this year?s ISC West expo, BDT Products will host a separate technology roundtable for VMS software manufacturers. This technology roundtable will discuss viable video surveillance storage techniques and how VMS software vendors could enable the utilization of time-tested storage technologies.

An industry that mimics the video surveillance market, Hollywood?s Media and Entertainment industry, has been using these types of video storage technologies for over a decade. Unfortunately, the video surveillance industry seems intent on learning things the hard way and has yet to embrace such long-term, viable, low-cost, storage platforms.

RSVP
BDT invites VMS software vendors to join them at ISC West, Las Vegas, NV, April 5, at 3:00pm. Contact Douglas Bass at [email protected] to reserve a seat at the meeting.

This meeting is open to all VMS software manufacturers, especially their CTOs, chief software architects, development leads, as well as their chief marketing managers. This roundtable discussion (ok, its actually setup in a hollow square setting, but you get the point) is geared to share as much technical information and storage capabilities that can be achieved and how to provide as much software design, API, and development background as possible.

The goal of this technology roundtable is to share as much technical capabilities on low-cost, long-term storage capabilities as well as to hear from the VMS Software vendor community what roadblocks and technical impediments they face in providing affordable long-term video retention to their end users.

This two-hour discussion will be a casual gathering, including appetizers and cocktails. BDT encourages those that attend this meeting to speak-up and share their challenges and experiences in dealing with long-term video retention, video archiving, and supporting customer needs in video recording.

Again, please contact Douglas Bass at [email protected] to reserve a seat (and your food and drinks) at this meeting.
