Fredrik Nilsson is the general manager for Axis Communications with responsibility for the company’s operations in North America since 2003. During that time, he has helped the company increase the revenue more than tenfold and has been instrumental in leading the industry shift from analog closed circuit television to network video.
Scott Schafer has been a force in the security industry for many years. Prior to his very visible role at Arecont Vision as EVP of Sales and Marketing, Scott held a similar role for several years with Pelco. Scott has led the introduction of industry-leading technologies and products at both of those companies over the past two decades. He has also served many years on the Security Industry Association Board of Directors, and received the SIA Chairman’s Award in 2015. He is well known to audiences – including those that don’t buy Arecont Vision products – through his many conference presentation and panels, by his editorial contributions in magazine and news sites world wide, and by his dedication to driving the security industry overall to new heights.
Matt Tengwall is the Vice President and General Manager of Security and Cyber Solutions for Banking and Retail Markets within Verint Systems. Prior to this role, Tengwall served as the Vice President of Sales in the North America market for Verint. Over the course of his career, Tengwall has built strategic partnerships and alliances, and has extensive knowledge in solution selling, sales and business development and product management. No stranger to the security industry market, Tengwall has been featured in numerous publications, such as SecurityInfoWatch and SDM Magazine. Tengwall is skilled in the area of public speaking and has spoken at numerous events and on various panels. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations, advertising and applied communication from Towson University.
Kevin Wine is the Vice President of Marketing for Verint Video and Situation Intelligence. In his current role, Wine is responsible for developing and executing global marketing and communications programs including demand generation, brand awareness and thought leadership, sales support services, standards and processes, organizational management and development, strategic planning, change management, and related budgets/metrics. Wine works alongside senior executives and global corporate marketing on initiatives in the marketing and business development domains. Wine has worked in the security industry for more than 20 years and has extensive knowledge and expertise in the areas of go-to-market strategy and tactical marketing, business and organization development, funnel automation, commercial marketing, product management and positioning, pricing, company messaging and branding, communications, enterprise accounts, multi-national sales, government sales, channel management, complex OEM and end customer contract negotiations, customer loyalty, professional services, demand generation, and sales support services. A proven leader in the executive space, Wine has led marketing operations at numerous organizations for technology-based companies including RedCloud Security, ICx Technologies, Lenel and Edicon. As the Vice President of Marketing and Co-creator of Lenel, Wine developed and managed technical support, professional services, and training organizations in the beginning years of the company and drove teams to close numerous marquee accounts such as Fidelity Investments, IBM-Cisco, and Port Authority NY/NJ. Today, Wine is a frequent speaker at industry events, is recognized as a leading voice in the security industry and currently serves on the Security Industry Association educational advisory board.
Brandon Reich is the Senior Director of Surveillance Solutions for Pivot3. He is a frequent speaker and influencer on trends related to video surveillance, IT innovations, video and data storage, mobility, the Internet of Things and Big Data. He came to Pivot3 in 2014 from Honeywell Security Group, where he led the Product Marketing and Global Strategy functions for the commercial and enterprise technology business unit. Prior to Honeywell, he spent 10 years leading a security consulting and engineering firm where he advised some of the world’s largest organizations in security technology strategy and deployment. He started his career as an ASIC design engineer for Nortel Networks and GE, and has a degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Louisville.
Per Björkdahl is the current Chair of the ONVIF Steering Committee, which is responsible for ONVIF’s overall strategy. As the head of ONVIF’s Steering Committee, Per is involved with ONVIF’s conformance initiatives and represents the member-driven organization as a speaker at trade shows and other technology events and to the industry at large. He is, in many cases, the voice and face of ONVIF, championing open standards through collaboration and ongoing dialogue with representatives from other standards organizations and manufacturing leaders, and with systems integrators and end users. Per’s professional career includes a lifelong commitment to technical convergence. He has worked in the physical security industry for more than 25 years and was an early supporter of IP technology adoption within the industry. Per is currently Axis Communications’ Director of Business Development, a position he has held for more than 16 years. With Axis Communications, Per advocates the acceptance of communications standards in the building automation industry, which he has also done for companies like TAC (now part of Schneider Electric).

Previously, she was the Sales Manager of the Access Control Products Group at Checkpoint Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CKP) from June 2003 until January 2006. From 1991 to 2003, Ms. Evans was regional sales manager at Checkpoint. Sielox was a division of Checkpoint Systems, Inc. from 1986 to 2006 when the division was acquired. Ms. Evans is a graduate of Elizabethtown College in PA and holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration. She is an active member of ASIS.
