Interlogix introduced its TruVision® NVR 71, a high-capacity H.265 high-definition recorder for larger internet protocol-based video surveillance solutions and an advanced touchscreen network management switch.
Both are being showcased April 11-13 at the International Security Conference & Exposition (ISC West) in Las Vegas (booth #18019). Interlogix is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
The new TruVision recorder is ideal for large commercial applications offering up to 576 Mbps of incoming camera bandwidth supporting up to 128 IP camera channels. Its 96TB of embedded storage ? in RAID or non-RAID configurations ? accommodates high resolution or long-term video storage needs.
The recorder?s H.265 video compression standard reduces network bandwidth and storage requirements. And the high-fault tolerant design includes eight independent Gigabit Ethernet network ports, dual power supplies, slide-out fan module and RAID.
Other TruVision NVR 71 features include:
- A drop-down panel for convenient access for easily upgrading or replacing hard drives.
- Native support for TruVision IP cameras and third-party IP cameras via Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) and Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP).
- Remote monitoring with the TruVison TVRMobile app
- Native integration with TruVision Navigator integrated security software
?The TruVision NVR 71 offers enterprise-class performance with the features, functions and convenience required by larger commercial IP-based video surveillance system users,? said Mike Chiavacci, general manager, Interlogix, North America. ?Yet, the recorder is easy to install and simple to use with the built-in browser interface, the mobile app or the TruVision Navigator integrated security platform.?
The new IFS® Power over Ethernet (PoE) managed network switch (NS4702-24P-4X) features an intuitive 2.4-inch front panel LCD touch screen enabling basic switch and PoE port management. It provides 24 PoE ports with a total power budget of up to 400 watts. It also includes four 1/10 Gigabit SFP+ ports for switch trunking.
The touch screen allows users to:
- Manage switch mode (Standard, VLAN, Extended) and bandwidth control
- Configure IP addresses, manage ports and monitor status
- Monitor the status of connected devices and PoE usage in real-time with the powered devices (PD) alive check feature
- Easily ping local devices
The switch is designed with a new network switch architecture that supports camera detection and will provide tighter integration with future versions of TruVision Navigator.
?This intelligent new switch greatly enhances efficient management of PoE-powered devices deployed in small and enterprise organizations alike,? Chiavacci said.
