IQSIGHT Receives LenelS2 Factory Certification

IQSIGHT’s Video Recording Manager interfaces with LenelS2’s OnGuard access control security system

IQSIGHT has received LenelS2 factory certification under the LenelS2 OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP). The certification validates IQSIGHT’s Video Recording Manager (VRM) versions 4.50 and 4.70 for integration with the OnGuard® 8.3 access control system.

The integration enables users to view live and playback video and display Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) and IVA Pro alerts directly within the OnGuard platform.

Video Management Integration With OnGuard

Support for VRM provides access to video stored across multiple iSCSI disk arrays while automatically balancing video streams to optimize storage space and improve retention times.

The certification also extends to DIVAR IP all-in-one appliances, as the video recording and management solutions utilize VRM core components and services.

Operators can leverage the built-in intelligence of connected IQSIGHT cameras to receive IVA and IVA Pro alarms within OnGuard. With real-time alerts, such as the detection of perimeter breaches, along with color bounding box overlays that pinpoint where an event occurs within a scene, operators gain visual information to support decision-making.

Video Analytics Support Risk Detection

“IQSIGHT has completed the required factory testing at LenelS2 to validate the functionality of its interface to the OnGuard system. With this certification, users can benefit from receiving IQSIGHT video analytic alerts within the OnGuard platform for earlier risk detection and enhanced security and safety,”

said John Marchioli, OAAP product management, LenelS2.

“We look forward to their continued involvement in the LenelS2 OpenAccess Alliance Program.”

The certification brings IQSIGHT video analytics into the OnGuard environment, allowing security personnel to access video information and analytics alongside access control operations.

“Combining IQSIGHT video solutions with the security and productivity features of LenelS2’s OnGuard system delivers improved situational awareness to security personnel,”

said Matt Lamb, Director of Solutions Engineering, IQSIGHT.

“Users gain clear visual information and precise detection of potential threats for the actionable insights needed to accelerate incident response.”
