PSA Appoints Travis Deatherage and Pete Keller to Board

Industry leaders from LINX Multimedia and Integrated Protection Services bring decades of expertise in technology integration, finance and strategic growth to strengthen the PSA Network

The PSA Network has appointed Travis Deatherage, president of LINX Multimedia, and Pete Keller, chief financial officer of Integrated Protection Services (IPS), to its Board of Directors, strengthening the organization’s leadership with expertise in technology integration, finance and strategic growth.

The appointments reinforce PSA’s member-owned governance model and support its mission of helping security and audiovisual systems integrators grow through education, collaboration, networking and innovative business solutions. The organization also owns the audiovisual buying group, Edge.

Matt Barnette, president and CEO of PSA, said the new board members bring complementary leadership experience that will help the organization continue delivering value to members while supporting the future of both the security and AV integration industries.

Travis Deatherage Brings AV Integration Leadership

Deatherage has more than 28 years of experience spanning audiovisual systems, telecommunications, software development and technology integration. He founded Solstice Multimedia in 2002 before merging the company with LINX in 2011, creating LINX Multimedia.

Under his leadership, LINX Multimedia has grown from a regional AV integrator into a nationally recognized technology integration provider serving enterprise, higher education, healthcare, government and mission-critical organizations across the United States.

As a member of Edge, Deatherage will represent the growing audiovisual integration community on the PSA Board while encouraging stronger collaboration between PSA and Edge members. His experience includes leading national expansion, strategic acquisitions and operational growth while maintaining a focus on customer experience and technical excellence.

“I am excited for the opportunity to join the PSA Board at such a pivotal time for security and AV integration,” said Deatherage.

“I understand firsthand the value organizations like PSA Security and Edge bring to their members and am honored to be working on the Board of a forward thinking, collaborative, member-owned organization with leaders from across the security integration industry.”

Pete Keller Adds Financial and Strategic Expertise

Keller serves as Chief Financial Officer at Integrated Protection Services (IPS), where he oversees financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting and enterprise reporting. He works closely with executive leadership to align financial management with the company’s long-term growth objectives.

His experience includes operational efficiency, strategic planning and financial stewardship. Keller is also a frequent speaker on financial leadership, business scaling and the use of analytics to improve organizational performance.

“I’m honored to join the PSA Board and contribute to an organization that consistently creates value for its members through creative benefits, collaboration, shared learning and industry leadership,” said Keller.

“PSA provides a unique platform for member organizations to grow stronger together, and I’m excited to help advance that mission.”

Strengthening Member-Owned Governance

With the addition of Deatherage and Keller, PSA continues to strengthen its governance by bringing together experienced leaders from across the security and audiovisual integration sectors. Their expertise is expected to help shape the consortium’s long-term strategy while supporting continued growth and innovation for member companies.

PSA is the world’s largest systems integrator consortium, representing security and audiovisual systems integrators across North America. Its members operate more than 500 branch locations, employ over 13,500 professionals and deliver more than $5 billion annually in security, fire, life safety and professional audiovisual installations. PSA supports members through education, networking, technology partnerships and business services.

Edge is PSA’s audiovisual buying group that connects low-voltage and AV systems integrators through exclusive purchasing programs, industry partnerships, education and networking opportunities.
