Milestone Systems promoted Dr. Barry Norton to vice president of research. Dr. Barry Norton joined Milestone Systems in May 2018 as director of research. XProtect on Amazon Web Services now available in AWS Marketplace
Milestone Systems announced the availability of its XProtect on Amazon Web Services (AWS) solution in AWS Marketplace. XProtect on AWS offers a new way of designing XProtect systems. Milestone Systems announced Soko Aoki from Tokyo, Japan, the winner of the Milestone Community Kickstarter Contest 2018 during the community days in Las Vegas in February. The winning project is based on integrating Milestone Systems’ XProtect VMS (video management software) with 360 enabled cameras and a head mounted display (HMD) to see omni-directions by just moving your head using RTSP and MIP drivers.
