HID Global obtains RAPID ID certification from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). This will empower law enforcement officers to conduct mobile biometric identification on-the-fly. The solution handles behind-the-scenes heavy lifting for cross-check fingerprints against FDLE’s FALCON Integrated Criminal History System and FBI’s Repository for Individuals of Special Concern (RISC) databases. The officers simply tap the app to securely capture and transmit prints, and receive hit or no-hit responses in a matter of minutes.
