Calipsa and Immix are bringing their proven AI Video Alarm Verification solution to central alarm monitoring stations in the Americas. The news follows the successful launch of the solution, known as AI Link, in Europe, Middle East and Africa and the Asia Paific region (APAC) in May this year. The integration, which will be available starting Sept. 1, will allow Immix customers to add Calipsa?s False Alarm Filtering technology to their cameras directly via the AI Link feature in Immix Central Station and Guard Force.

These devices have the capability to send a visual ?clip? along with the digital alarm that, via the integration with Immix, can be instantly viewed and acted upon by a monitoring agent.
Tyco’s Sur-Gard Enhances SG-System 5 With PSTN Line Cards, SureView Systems Integration
Tyco Security Products, part of Johnson Controls, announced that Sur-Gard, the industry leader in monitoring station solutions, now supports PSTN line cards on the SG-System 5 receiver to give central stations the flexibility to monitor both IP and PSTN alarm signals to create their most powerful receiver solution to date. With this enhancement, SG-System 5 can support a combination of 24 IP or PSTN line cards. More than 150 communication formats are supported through the PSTN line cards, which features patented Automatic Hand Shake (AHS) technology to remember the required handshake and/format of the incoming events resulting in an expedited signal processing time.
