Wells Fargo and Zelle Network Veteran Lou Anne Alexander Joins iProov Corporate Board
iProov announced that Lou Anne Alexander has joined the iProov Corporate Board as a non-executive director. Alexander spent more than 12 years with Early Warning® (EW), a fintech company owned by seven of the largest U.S. banks, where she led the U.S. launch of the Zelle Network® payment service. Alexander most recently served as chief product officer at EW, responsible for all identity verification services for new account openings, as well as a bank-sponsored digital identity service.

iProov Study: 90% of Americans Would Pay Extra to Renew Driver’s License Online
Americans are resoundingly in favor of renewing their driver’s licenses and other government documentation online, according to a new report from iProov. iProov, the world leader in providing face authentication technology to securely assure the identity of online users, commissioned a survey of U.S. citizens to gauge their appetite for digital services. A whopping 90% of respondents say they would pay an additional fee to renew their driver’s license online, while nearly a third (31%) admit to driving with an expired license.
Australian Taxation Office Extends National Digital Identity Program with Face Verification Technology from iProov
Australians will soon be able to access digital government services online after proving their identity using face verification from biometric authentication leaders, iProov. Following an open tender process, iProov was selected to provide a liveness solution for myGovID. iProov’s Genuine Presence Assurance technology will enable Australians to set up their myGovID digital identity using a simple face scan on their mobile devices. This will provide access to a range of services, including managing tax returns and accessing health services.
Singapore Government Extends National Digital Identity Programme
Four million Singaporeans can now access digital government services online using facial verification implemented by iProov and Toppan Ecquaria for the Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech) under the pioneering National Digital Identity program. GovTech is the government agency driving Singapore’s digital government transformation and Smart Nation initiative. iProov and Toppan Ecquaria were selected following an open international tender.

iProov announced that its technology is to be deployed by Dutch challenger bank Knab for its nearly 500,000 customers. Knab customers can now effortlessly authenticate themselves for a growing range of sensitive transactions using iProov’s patented Flashmark technology. The partnership with the online-only bank, which is owned by multinational life insurance, pensions and asset management firm AEGON, sees iProov collaborate with a challenger bank for the first time.
iProov to Provide Contactless Travel Entry for Eurostar as Part of Railway Innovation Initiative
iProov announced that its technology will be used to improve the speed and safety of train travel. Rail passengers using Eurostar services will be the first to take advantage of a facial biometric corridor to enable contactless journeys. The walk-through system will allow customers to complete ticket checks and border exit processes at St Pancras International station without needing to come into contact with people or hardware.
