GB Group announced that it has reached agreement to acquire Acuant, a leading identity verification and KYC/AML compliance provider, for a cash-free, debt-free enterprise value of $736 million. The acquisition of Acuant brings together two of the leaders in the global digital identity market with a combined revenue of c.£265 million. A long-time partner, Acuant has a product suite that is a natural complement to GBG’s existing US-based services from IDology.
Acuant Integrates iProov Patented Biometric Authentication Into Its Trusted Identity Platform
iProov announced that Acuant has integrated iProov into its platform to provide robust online face authentication services. Acuant, which provides identity verification services to all industries, selected iProov’s patented Flashmark technology to deliver the highest level of trust during the online authentication of a remote individual for customer onboarding, customer authentication, age verification, fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
Acuant And iDentyTech Partner To Boost Physical Security And Authentication
Acuant has announced a partnership with iDentyTech to provide document validation for iDentyTech’s IDT physical access security platform. The integration will enable efficient management of entry points into a property or facility, according to the announcement, with Acuant’s AssureID technology extracting biometric and other data from identity documents and applying more than 50 forensic document tests to authenticate them.
