Lanner released LEC-2137, an I/O rich IoT-ready industrial box PC powered by Intel® Celeron® N3350 or Atom™ x7-E3950 (code named Apollo Lake). The Software-based thin client computing has now become ubiquitous in machine vision and physical security, so too have the hardware appliances deployed at manufacturing facilities and various commerce/enterprise locations. LEC-2137 is a thin client gateway that can be configured with either a total of six Ethernet ports or two Ethernet ports and four PoE ports.
FLIR Systems To Acquire Point Grey Research, Inc. For $253 Million
FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) announced that it has reached a definitive asset purchase agreement to acquire the business of Point Grey Research, Inc., a leading developer of machine vision cameras for use in industrial, retail, scientific, traffic, mapping, and other advanced imaging applications, for approximately $253 million in cash.
